My name is Charlotte Wale and all my jewellery is handmade by me in Staffordshire, UK. The presentation packages are created in-house and feature my own drawings - it’s truly important to me to make something special for you to give to loved ones or to yourself!
I create the jewellery using either real items from nature such as leaves and flowers or I sculpt pieces inspired by the natural world.
My background is in illustration however since attending a workshop to learn about a product called Metal Clay, I was hooked and started making jewellery. Metal Clay is made of real metal particles mixed with an organic binder, to form a clay like substance. The metal is recycled from industrial processes and electrical products.
When a piece is made and dried, it’s fired in a kiln and the organic binder burns away and the solid metal is left behind. I hand polish and add a patina to highlight all the fine details.
I use a variety of metals, pure .999 silver, copper, bronze and sterling silver chain.
